A question that might be asked regarding the logo is whether it is upside down or not.  This is an understandable question when one considers the maps and imagery that we have been exposed to for so very long.

 

However, it may be of interest to know that from the viewpoint of the Ancient Afrikans the map is right side up.  Meaning, the south was considered up.  Hence, the southern part of Egypt was and is referred to as Upper Egypt.  Historically, the south represented the cultural and political center for Ancient Egypt.

 

The Afrikans that founded civilization in what today is called Egypt referred to their country as Kemet, which literally translates to the “black land”.  Furthermore, they were very clear as to their origins as is recorded in Papyrus of Hunefer from the Pert em Hru (i.e. Coming Forth By Day or Coming into the Light) which states:

We came from the beginning of the Nile where the god Hapi dwells, at the foothills of the mountains of the moon.

The Nile rivers begin in Uganda and Ethiopia respectively and the mountains of the moon refer to Mount Kilimanjaro, which straddles the Kenya Tanzania border, and Mount Rwenzori, which is in Uganda.  Mount Meru in Tanzania must also be included in the mountains of the moon.  The spiritual significance of Mount Meru to Tibetan Buddhism cosmology should also be noted. Thus, our Afrikan Ancestors pay homage to what is recorded as the first Holy Land.

 

It is important to note that it is in these locations that the oldest human fossils have been found.  Our Afrikan Ancestors traveled north to what today is called Egypt and brought forth light and civilization for the entire world.  Here we see the Blue Nile from Ethiopia and White Nile from Uganda flowing northward to merge or “mix” as the Great Nile River giving life and providing a fertile ground to build a great society.  For Ancient Egypt is the birthplace and provides the foundation for civilization as we know it today.
